Get started with SMCFashion Dropship

Start with a small collection you can confidently sell. This checklist takes you from installation to your first published gowns.

1. Choose your first 5–10 styles

Open SMCFashion Dropship from your Shopify admin. Browse the catalog and start with one category that suits your customers: prom, bridesmaid, evening, or mother of the bride. Check available sizes and colors before importing.

2. Set prices that work for your store

Choose your retail markup before adding styles. Allow for the product cost, shipping, payment fees, taxes where applicable, and your own business costs. A markup is not a guaranteed profit.

3. Import and review each product

Add your chosen styles to your store. Review the imported photos, descriptions, sizes, colors, and retail prices. Check your Shopify product status, online store availability, and collections so customers can find the gowns you want to sell.

4. Check your storefront before promoting it

  • View your imported products as a customer, including on your phone.
  • Confirm prices, size information, photos, shipping settings, and your customer-facing policies.
  • Make sure your store can accept orders and that your team understands how fulfillment and payment work. Ask us if anything is unclear.

5. Share your collection

Publish a collection for your first styles and share its link with your customers. When you receive an order, SMC Fashion ships from Los Angeles. Warehouse inventory syncs hourly; availability can change between updates.

The free app plan supports up to 25 styles. The unlimited plan is listed at $39/month with a 30-day free trial. Review current pricing and approve any subscription inside Shopify. Product and shipping charges apply separately; a free app plan does not include free gowns or shipping.
